The FanDuel Thursday odds boosts were perfect in the first four weeks of the season.

• On the season’s opening night, the boosted bet had Patrick Mahomes throwing three or more touchdowns and leading Kansas City to victory against Houston. The regular +154 odds paid out at +250.
• In Week 2, in-state rivals Cincinnati and Cleveland needed to score more than 9.5 points in the first quarter with the Browns winning in the end. That +169 bet boosted to +250.
• Jacksonville and Miami played in Week 3. Both teams scoring at least a touchdown apiece in each half cashed a bet that paid off at +200, boosted from +142.
• In Week 4, Denver and the New York Jets cashed a two-leg parlay by scoring 15 or more points apiece, a bet boosted from +104 to +140.

The original historic building where the MotorCity Casino Hotel complex is located was first built in 1915. Part of the exterior terracotta relief was restored during renovations. The Mandalay Resort Group opened the casino on this site in 1999.

MGM Mirage acquired Mandalay Resort Group in 2005. At the time, MGM also owned the MGM Grand Detroit. Since Michigan law only allows companies to own one casino in the state, MGM had to sell one of their properties. After a bit of hemming and hawing, they wound up selling their share in MotorCity Casino to Little Caesar’s owner, Marian Ilitch.

Ilitch also invested in a $300 million expansion of the casino to include the 400-room hotel and spa. In 2008, the MotorCity Casino received its signature metal wrap from Quality Metalcraft, which produced 11,000 tons of stainless steel ribbon for the project.

The casino’s design is strongly influenced by Detroit’s automotive and industrial history, hence the name, MotorCity Casino Hotel. Outside, the building has a unique curved design that is wrapped in a metal shell. Inside, there are thousands of slot machines and dozens of gaming tables with roulette, Black Jack, poker, craps, Pai Gow, Baccarat, Casino War, and Spanish 21.
